public exhibition to be held – by Abby Fermont
PROPOSALS have now been developed to deliver eight new homes for local people on a Council owned site in Wilstone. Local residents are invited to a public exhibition at Wilstone village hall on:

Wednesday 11 February 2009 from 1.30pm-3.00pm and
Thursday 12 February 2009 from 7.30pm-9.00pm

The exhibition will be an opportunity for you to view the plans and representatives from Dacorum and Aldwyck Housing Group will be attending to answer any questions you may have. The Council’s Housing Options Manager will also be attending the Wednesday afternoon session to offer advice to any residents interested in applying for affordable housing.

All comments received will be reported to the Portfolio Holder (Finance and Resources) who will consider whether to proceed with the development. If Dacorum does decide to proceed, the Housing Association will then submit a formal planning application, after making any alterations required to the proposal. This application will be considered in the usual manner and the Planning Department will follow the normal consultation process, as they would for any other application.

Should you be unable to attend the public exhibition but would like to comment on the proposals, copies of the plans can be requested by calling Kate Bowles (Housing Enabling Manager at Dacorum) on 01442-228526 or by emailing kate.bowles@dacorum.gov.uk no later than Thursday 12 February.
